Isla
Canela, an enjoyable 18-hole course for players of all levels
because of its large varied tees, strategically positioned trees
and extenseive greens, extends over a salt marsh crisscrossed
by small seawater streams.
The course is no the northwest part of the island of the same
name near Ayamonte. Broom brush, eucalyptus, olive and orange
trees along the course make for beautiful scenery but they also
discourage carelessness. Several holes are bordered by natural
lakes and the greens are well protected by bunkers. At the par-five
7th the green is reachable in two as long as you steer clear of
the river to the right.
